K’Naan, Michael Buble, Metric, Joel Plaskett, Arkells and more win in first round of the Juno Awards

As any large awards show dictates, there is a preliminary gala the night before. Such is the case for the Junos, the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys.

Metric, Joel Plaskett, K’Naan, Arkells and Michael Buble all won big, sprouting an eruption of exclamations on Twitter for congratulations.

Other artists who won include Bell Orchestre, Amelia Curran and Charles Spearin.
